Are you ready to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment? Hit Promotional Products is seeking a Warehouse Director to oversee all production departments at our Fairfield, OH location. As the Warehouse Director, you will play a pivotal role in achieving day-to-day production and quality goals while ensuring profitability and exceeding customer expectations.

The Warehouse Director is responsible for orchestrating workflow, optimizing processes, and managing a dedicated team to meet delivery schedules and quality standards. You will lead by example, inspire your team, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Organize workflow to meet delivery schedules and review incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Develop and implement warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Supervise receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations while managing inventory and logistics.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff to achieve short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile with warehouse management system.
  • Collaborate with other directors to address production and distribution issues.

Financial Control:

  • Manage warehouse costs and improve profitability through efficient resource utilization.
  • Ensure accurate inventory records and advise management on productivity enhancements.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure availability of supplies.

General and Administrative:

  • Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Supervise team to prioritize jobs and meet deadline changes.
  • Comply with OSHA safety requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • High school Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of warehouse experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WMS, and ERP software.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Physical Demands:

  • Standing for prolonged periods and lifting objects up to 40 lbs.
  • Exposure to fluorescent lighting, noise, and chemical fumes.
